Towards to the Resilient
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought upon the world with challenges. Almost all countries had to shut down their economies to halt the spread of the virus and the Philippines is one of those countries who have taken strict measures. By year 2020, Philippine Government proposed a lockdown to the country. They controlled it but suddenly when the the surge hit they lose the protection. Garnering a million cases in 2021 with a lot of total deaths but thankfully they have a lot of recoveries. By the time when the surge of the virus happens, Philippine economy shrink down and many establishments closed and many people lose their job.
They proposed a lockdown in many cities and municipalities in the country. Many people panicked at that time, they rushed at the groceries and buy all the food just to have food in the middle of pandemic. But many people have a soft heart that they make a thing that helps those people in need, they make AYUDA which helps the people of the country financially. By 2021 in the month of October,The lockdown did help in controlling the spread of the virus and apparently, the Philippines is already flattening the curve. The number of cases reported in the country is no longer growing at an exponential rate, however, flattening the curve does not necessarily mean that the Philippines is winning its battle against the pandemic. There are other measures to consider to ultimately say that a country is winning the battle.
